In February 2021 Novus Property Solutions launched their new CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative the "Build Back Better Challenge". This is part of its vision to be a force for good, encompassing three key focus areas selected by its colleagues: reducing poverty, environmental action, and supporting health and wellbeing. As part of the initiative, Novus is encouraging its colleagues, clients, supply chain and the wider community to nominate deserving causes across the UK to receive funding.

Committed To The Environment
Novus has made a commitment to recycling more than 80% of the paint cans that they use from 2021 and beyond. As a leading national painting and decorating contractor, Novus uses a lot of paint, which means we have a lot of empty paint cans left over. In partnership with leading paint suppliers such as Dulux, Novus is able to transform these empty paint cans into something more useful, like a recycled plastic park bench. From purchase to park bench, this video shows the journey that one of our paint cans makes in its life time.

Committed to The Community
The very first winners of Novus's Build Back Better Challenge, Coffee4Craig is a homeless welfare centre located in Manchester. Providing hot food, emergency provisions, showers and medical support to those in need through its out-of-hours drop-in service in Manchester City Centre, Coffee4Craig offers hope and support to the city's homeless community.
Committed to Apprentices
Novus has a long history of supporting and training new apprentices. In 2021 they took their apprentices on an Apprentice Welcome Week to Mount Cook Adventure Centre in Matlock, Derbyshire. The 15 new apprentices took part in an action-packed few days of learning and development with social activities along the way!
